31 Weeks

I had a doctor appointment today. My doctor, Dr. Gravelle, is out of town this week so I saw a doctor that is retired and steps in to help once in a while, Dr. Rasmussen. I love my doctors office! All the doctors I have seen there have been awesome!

Today I was told that baby is head down and he will most likely stay that way this far into the game. I won't have to worry about having a c-section for a breeched baby. Baby boy had a heartbeat of 140. I had a little bit of protein in my urine, but the nurse said it was probably because I didn't drink a lot of water. I have gained 30 lbs. 30!! I wanted to stay between 20-25 lbs. I have decided I am going to try my hardest to stop drinking Pepsi and try to limit my sweets.

Dr. Rasmussen told me that since this is my second baby, Dr. Gravelle could induce me as early as 39 weeks. It sounds tempting, but I really want to experience going into labor. With Emily my water broke and I have heard it doesn't happen to everyone so I am interested to see how things will go with baby boy.

I can't believe we only have 9 weeks left! Hopefully this weekend we can get started on moving Emily to her big girl room and getting the nursery ready for baby. I am so excited for both of their rooms, they are going to be so cute!
