Long Time No See!

Hi. You may not remember me. I'm Nicole. It's been a while since we last saw each other. I've missed blogging and so my goal for the rest of the year, a New Year Resolution of sorts, is to post one blog a day. No matter how boring. One blog a day.

Just to catch you up, Emily turned 2! TWO! She is talking up a storm. Her favorite words are, Popsicle, Treat and Juice. Occasionally she will throw in Mine. She is very independent and knows what she wants! We have been working on potty training. She will sit on her potty but she doesn't always go. Today however she went 3 times! I am very proud of her! It is so cute to see her get excited when the music on the potty goes off letting us know it's wet. I'm hoping this potty training stuff goes well since I would like her to be potty trained before September when the new baby comes.

I'm sorry, Did I forget to mention that??

WE ARE HAVING A BABY BOY! Thats right a penis!

He is due September 8 and we are very excited! Although I don't think Emily fully understands that in a few months she will have to share her mommy and daddy. We will ask her where baby is and she will point to my stomach. Or my boob. (It's one of the bumps) She will also give my belly kisses and say, "Love you baby brother". She really is the cutest thing!

We also bought a Nikon D7000. I am hoping to hone my photography skills and become a world famous photographer. We bought it in April and the only thing I can do is turn it on. I keep planning on taking a class at Pictureline to familiarize myself with the camera, but I keep slacking. Maybe I will have to make that one of my "New Years Resolutions" too.
